Formpipe, specialist provider of enterprise content management, has announced its support of the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC). The backing of the DPC underpins Formpipe's on-going commitment to data integrity and preservation.
With years of experience in the data management field, Formpipe's support for the DPC stems from their goal to secure everyone's digital legacy. The DPC is a non-profit organisation, which offers opportunities for its members to achieve resilient, long-term access to digital content and services.
The coalition introduces members to methods and solutions providers that demonstrate best practice approaches to preserving data, whilst working towards specific business requirements and challenges that are faced in today's every-changing market. Formpipe and the DPC share enthusiasm for data preservation and recognise the importance of preserving past data in order to better equip businesses for future endeavours.
Commenting on support for the coalition, Ben Saxton of Formpipe: "We are incredibly proud to announce our support for the Digital Preservation Coalition and are excited to work with the organisation as we both strive to make high quality digital preservation accessible to all. Together with the DPC, our aim is to help businesses understand the value of data preservation and the need to take immediate action in order to secure future business operations."
In addition, Formpipe will also be participating in the DPC's World Digital Preservation Day on 29 November, which also coincides with a gathering in Amsterdam for the Digital Preservation Awards 2018. These awards will celebrate the best work in digital preservation across all industries and verticals, as well as help to raise awareness of digital preservation and the associated benefits.
